Hi, my name is Jacqueline Finnemore, and I am the driving force behind laurina.co.uk.
The web site was originally set up in early 2009, as a portal to showcase my paintings, which are acrylic on boxed canvas. It seemed the best way of sharing with others something which I enjoy doing. Later that same year I had the opportunity of opening a small unit in Kings Heath Birmingham. Here I was able to show and sell my paintings face to face with the general public and was on occasion commissioned to produce specific pieces.
For those of you that have purchased or commissioned any of my artwork, I hope that it still brings you as much joy and pleasure as they did me in creating them. My work is of no given style and is just my interpretation of a scene, item of mood that evokes me to paint. If you take a moment to view the "Gallery" you will be able to see what work I have available to purchase at the moment.
In this unit I combined my art with my other passion Silk Flower Arranging and there displayed an array of bespoke floral arrangements as well as a small selection of Cards, Gifts & Stationery.
Always aiming to provide a better service, products and facilities, I am now delighted to run my business from the historic, and prestigious, Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham.
In my new shop you can still view my artwork as well as a greater array of Silk Flowers, a new Wedding Collection and Gifts to suit all occasions. Along side these I now have a new range of ‘Wildberry' Incense & Room Oils, which go nicely with the Oil Burners, Candles & Reed Diffusers on display.
Forest Products provide the shop with a selection of Preserves and Chutneys in small handy sized jars complete with gift bag, and delicious bars of, melt in the mouth, Fudge.
Cards & Stationery play a greater part in the new shop too, with double the amount of Cards on display plus Gift Wrap, Bags & Bows. Added to this is a selection of Paper Plates, Cups, Table Cloths, Napkins, Party Poppers and Table Bubbles.
As for Stationery, I can supply all you need for everyday or home office use. Which include, Copier Paper, Envelopes, Pens, Pads and a new range of low priced Printer inks and media storage.
